In the coastal area of Langland, housed in the Grade II Listed Langland Bay Manor which was first built in the mid-nineteenth century, is this two-bedroom apartment.

The home offers sea views and is not too far from Mumbles village, which was once the home of actress Catherine Zeta-Jones.

This property is on sale for £450,000 and is marketed by Fine & Country – Swansea, via OnTheMarket.

Before becoming part of The Langland Bay Hotel, Langland Bay Manor was first built to be the summer residence for the Crawshay family whose wealth came from the iron works in Merthyr Tydfil. The family crest is still carved in the staircase of the entrance hall of the main building, but perhaps one of the most striking features of this conversion are the tall ceilings which feature throughout the building.

High ceilings are certainly present in the entrance of the apartment itself finished with feature coving which can be found in many rooms of the home. The well-sized kitchen is accented with granite worktops and integrated appliances while the lounge and dining area are decorated with more coving and large windows which frame views of the communal gardens and Langland Bay.

As well as a separate family bathroom, ensuites are attached to both bedrooms in the apartment which are themselves filled with natural light which beams through gothic-style windows adding to both the charm and grandeur of the spaces.
