With 29 per cent of property searches at OnTheMarket.com carried out on a tablet, OnTheMarket.com reveals how much it costs to buy space the equivalent size of an iPad Air.

OnTheMarket.com has calculated how much homebuyers across the UK can expect to pay for a section of real estate which equates to the same size as the latest iPad Air.

Measuring 9.4in x 6.67in, the iPad Air is under a square foot – the standard measurement for property – but one which many people admit they struggle to visualise.

The analysis provides a snapshot of what it costs to place an iPad down inside a two bedroom apartment in the 10 largest UK cities, starting with the most expensive. While it may only cost tablet-owners in Bristol and Liverpool less than £200, central Londoners are looking at much more.

In London’s Mayfair it costs £1,430.61 to put down an iPad Air but just 10 miles away in Lewisham, homeowners will pay £1,305.13 less. Referring to these examples, Birmingham is the cheapest city while as expected, London is the most expensive.
