A spacious 4 bedroomed house with an outdoor heated pool and tennis court set in 170 acres of rolling farmland in the heart of Somerset, 30 minutes from Bath.

We currently have good available and the price is £662 per night during the week and £926 per night on weekends. There is an additional £200 cleaning fee on top and a refundable deposit.

We do offer a weekly discount as well if you are interested.

The space

This tastefully restored barn conversion sleeps up to 8 guests across four charming bedrooms. Perfect for families or reunions with friends, there are 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms. Both the double bedrooms are en-suite and there is a shared family bathroom for the two twin rooms. The twin bedrooms can be converted to double beds if needed.


The newly built tennis court and outdoor heated pool will make for a truly memorable staycation. (The pool is in operation from mid-April – September). And for those rainy days, there is a 55-inch ultra HD smart TV, a PlayStation 4 and a games room which has a table tennis table, a snooker table and a table football table.


A splendid open plan living area opens out onto a large patio and private garden. Holt Farm offers a stylish house that promises rustic charm but with modern amenities and a fully equipped kitchen.


If you like the idea of exploring, the farmer is available to do farm tours to guide you through the local landscape and wildlife and can introduce you to her regenerative farming approach. (A farm tour would have to be arranged privately with the farmer). And if eating locally is your thing, the farmer sells fresh duck eggs and beef from the farm.


There is also plenty of opportunity to roam and discover in the surrounding area. As well as your private space on the farm, you have the freedom to go for long walks in the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or the beautiful Stourhead National Trust Gardens and Lake which is just a 10-minute drive away.


This Holt Farm destination will provide an unforgettable holiday in the heart of the countryside.

The pool is heated from Early April – September. Weather permitting and by special arrangement the pool may be available in early autumn or late spring.


Other things to note

Please note that this rural property is part of a working farm which has cows, ducks and chickens on it, so on occasion you may be subject to noise from tractors and animals. And there are 2 other properties on the farm which are tenanted, so please be respectful as regards to noise.


A travel cot, highchair and spare folding beds are available on request.

The closest shop is 4.5 miles away so please ensure you bring adequate supplies as provisions are not supplied. Most of the online supermarkets do deliveries to Holt Farm.


No fireworks are allowed to be used at this property due to the livestock nearby.


Parties at the property are not allowed.


The pool is out of use in winter and will re-open in April 2021.


Please be aware that the area has a poor mobile network coverage but Wi-Fi coverage is good (BT fibre broadband).


During bank holidays the minimum stay is 3 nights.
