Carpenters Lane is a quiet residential street conveniently located just a few minutes level walk from the town centre and all it has to offer. The Croft is a purpose built three storey block of apartments which was constructed in 1995 on the site of an Edwardian redbrick mansion. 2 The Croft is located on the ground floor and was originally designed as two separate apartments which the first owner combined to provide just under 1500 square feet of living accommodation. The property is approached via a communal entrance hall, off which an enclosed lobby provides access to the front door of the apartment. The entrance to the apartment is particularly spacious with a generous hallway providing access to the majority of the rooms as well as built in storage areas. The sitting room measures just over 20 feet in length and has two windows and a fireplace fitted with a gas fire. Both the sitting room and dining rooms have part glazed double doors helping the transfer of natural light through to the hallway. A wide opening connects the dining room with the kitchen, which is fitted with the original limed oak fronted floor and wall mounted storage cupboards. Incorporated in the kitchen are an electric double oven, a gas hob, dishwasher, tumble dryer, a fridge freezer and the gas fired boiler. A corridor provides access to the three bedrooms, all of which would take a double bed and the main bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower, and a dressing room. There is a second bathroom and of course the third bedroom could be used as a study/hobbies room. 2 The Croft is very fortunate in the amount of parking in the ownership of the property. In addition to two dedicated parking spaces beneath a magnificent mature Beech Tree, there is a single garage in a block of three with another parking space in front. There is no private garden with the property but the communal garden, which envelopes the apartments, has been landscaped with a wide meandering paved path, gravelled areas, raised flower and shrub beds and contains a number of different sitting areas with the backdrop of the original handsome tall redbrick wall.

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
