The open planned living room also makes it a great space to host in. The building is super friendly and has a great secure and communal feel. Even though the location is central, with great transport links, the road is very quiet so it feels far away from the hustle and bustle. I also love how close it is to Brockwell park, literally just 30 seconds! Lastly, the off road parking is a fantastic perk.
I last decorated three and a half years ago. There are so many local amenities including some of my favourites; the Herne Hill farmers market on a Sunday, the local convenience store, Tesco's Express, Brockwell Park and Herne Hill & Brixton Markets.
The Transport links have spoilt me given the options of Herne Hill, Tulse Hill and Brixton for the tube. There are buses & trains heading in so many different directions to various parts of London.
I have lived here for 5 years and it has been amazing. The only reason I have decided to sell is I require space for a home office."
