Features and description
" I've loved living so close to Arnos Vale - walking through the woodland and park has become a favourite part of my day. Bloomfield Road has been a perfect location for me as a cyclist as I can hop straight onto the riverside path for an easy ride into town. Being on the cul-de-sac end of Bloomfield means the road is surprisingly quiet and I have everything I need within walking distance.
I fell in love with the flat because of how light it is, with the bay windows in the front which get the morning sun and the huge windows at the back. I love looking out onto the garden while I'm drawing or doing yoga. The garden has a really peaceful feel as it's so private and I've spent lots of summer afternoons reading a book in the sun. There's also the benefit of a separate kitchen, which was rare amongst the other flats I looked at and has been a lovely, bright space for cooking and sharing meals. "
In a hugely convenient location, the property is within walking distance of several well-regarded shops and cafes including Kin, Grounded and Deli at Sandy Park. Paintworks is also just a short walk and is home to Soul Pilates and Alex Does Coffee. Tapestry and Lost & Grounded are nationally renowned Bristol breweries with tap rooms, both of which are within walking distance. The area is popular with young professionals and families, being both close to the city centre but also accessible to several parks and larger green areas, such as the Nightingale Valley Nature Reserve and St Annes Wood. Arnos Vale Cemetery is just a short walk away and there are fairly extensive footpaths around the River Avon, which wraps around Brislington through some scenic spots, which includes the popular Beese’s Riverside Bar to the west. The area is also home to several good schools, such as Holymead, St Annes and Broomhill Primary. For commuters, Brislington is well placed, with several buses running through the area including the Park & Ride, as well as routes for cycling and walking/e-scooting to Bristol City Centre and Temple Meads train station.
A sunny ground floor one bedroom flat in this quiet part of Bloomfield Road which is no through road. The room at the front of the flat is currently being used as a bedroom but the flat as a whole offers flexible living and could also be the living room, it has a bay window meaning the room is super light and bright. To the rear of the flat is the kitchen with a door to the rear garden and space for a small table and the room at the rear which overlooks the garden is currently being used as a living space. There is also a modern shower room and a very private rear garden with flower beds.
