Features and description

"We absolutely love the location - it's a minute's walk from Church Road (rather dangerously close to Loaf!) but it's on a quiet no-through road making it peaceful. We also face gardens rather than houses so it doesn't feel at all hemmed in. It's our first home we have owned together and we have thoroughly enjoyed living here: St George's Park is gorgeous and the river and Troopers Hill are lovely walks. The Old Stillage and Red Lion are both five minutes away and our favourite pubs in Bristol!"

Alfred Street is in a prime location on the borders of Whitehall, Redfield and Easton. The area has become hugely popular with young professionals in recent years. Church Road has many exciting independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, with Alfred Street near to the very popular Red Church and Orchard Café. On from this, the much loved Bristol Loaf , Crafty Egg and The Lock-Up are staples in this community. St Marks Road in Easton also boasts a range of well-regarded venues such as Bristol Sweet Mart, Garden of Easton, alongside Thali. The proximity of St George's Park is also a huge benefit to local residents, offering a great retreat from city life on a summer's day. The sportier local residents can take advantage of the Whitehall Athletics Arena through Bristol and West AC who are based there. For those who need access away from Bristol, the property is just a short drive from Junction 2 of the M32, which in turn leads to the M4. The hugely popular Bristol to Bath cycle path is within easy reach for those looking to turn a lazy Sunday into a fun-filled adventure. Bristol Temple Meads train station is also just a short journey by car, bike or train from the local Lawrence Hill Station which is a 10 minute walk away.

Tucked away on a quiet street in Redfield, this charming two-bedroom period home is a great find for first-time buyers. It’s been well cared for and thoughtfully updated, offering a lovely mix of character and modern touches. Inside, a traditional hallway leads to a cosy sitting room at the front of the house. At the back, there’s a spacious, open-plan kitchen and dining area with sliding doors that open straight onto the garden – perfect for everyday living and easy summer evenings. Upstairs, there are two comfortable bedrooms. The main bedroom is a generous size with plenty of room for storage, and the second double makes an ideal guest room, workspace, or both. The bathroom is contemporary and well laid out, with a separate bath and shower. The garden is a real bonus – with lawn, raised beds, and enough space to relax, grow things, or have friends over.
