Description

Beech Corner has been designed in an attractive traditional style with a luxurious contemporary interior in a fabulous town centre location.

The property is entered via a welcoming entrance hall fitted with engineered oak flooring that continues throughout the majority of the ground floor, there is a useful understairs storage cupboard and a cloakroom fitted with Burlington sanitaryware. Double doors lead into the light and airy, neutrally decorated sitting room which is front aspect and from there a second set of double doors lead through to the open plan kitchen and dining room.

The kitchen is well equipped with integrated Miele appliances, a water softener, granite worktops and a central island, as well as space for a large dining table - perfect for family life! Adjoining the kitchen is a recently refurbished utility room with a door to the outside.

The stunning double aspect garden room was added in 2022 and the glass, including that in the roof lantern has been fitted with 3M solar film to help keep the space cool on warm summer days. There is a Morso eco wood burner which is sat on a matte granite hearth and underfloor heating so the room is comfortable during the colder months. With double doors that lead to the terrace the room is filled with natural light and creates a seamless link between the kitchen and garden.

A study/playroom which has underfloor heating completes the ground floor accommodation

Upstairs there are four double bedrooms, two of which have fitted double wardrobes and en suite shower rooms with underfloor heating and sensor night lights and two that are served by a well appointed family bathroom fitted with Lefroy Brookes sanitaryware, Perrin and Rowe taps and a Carrara marble floor and wall tiles.

There is also a large landing cupboard for extra storage and the loft is fully boarded with power, light and a convenient drop down ladder.

Outside, the private rear garden is mainly laid to lawn with mature trees, shrubs and flowerbeds, it has low level lighting installed and a stylish terrace ideal for alfresco dining and relaxing during the warmer months. The garden is fully enclosed and the boundary fence was replaced in 2024. The front and rear garden both enjoy the convenience of a Claber electronic irrigation system. There is a shed tucked away at the end of the garden for additional storage.

To the front there is a garden surrounded by box hedging creating a lovely sense of arrival and a shared block paved drive with parking for several cars and an EV charging point.

Please note that the photographs were taken in the summer of 2024 to show the garden at it’s best.
