Local knowledge

Living in Farnham
Farnham is an attractive market town, complete with beautiful castle, offering a range of branded and independent shops. There are a number of coffee shops and restaurants in the town and on the picturesque Castle St and Lion and Lamb Yard. The town plays host to monthly and seasonal markets and the centrally located Malting Arts Centre offers theatre, film and crafts. Farnham’s main line train station offers fast and regular trains to London Waterloo and the road links are excellent with London, Gatwick, Heathrow and the south coast all within easy reach. We are blessed with a variety of schools in the area. Sporting facilities include Farnham’s centrally located leisure centre, The Bourne Tennis Club, David Lloyd Tennis Centre, a wealth of golf clubs, and also sailing on Frensham Great Pond. The extensive surrounding countryside (much of which is owned by the National Trust) is ideal for walking, riding and exploring.
