"I originally bought the flat as an interesting renovation project, and a central base while I was working abroad. I especially liked the fact you could walk almost anywhere and it’s really convenient for the city centre, and the train and coach stations. There’s even a bus stop 50 yds up the road. The street is wide and makes the flat feels light and spacious for its size. Lots of independent shops and eateries in the area. I liked the St Werburghs Community gardens being within walking distance. I had the front and back walls double insulated to make the flat comfortable and keep the heating bills down. I like it being a hall floor flat with the main front door and hall only shared with the flat above. You can easily keep a bike there, and the extra storage space in the hallway has been useful."
