Originally planted in 1945, the Scots pine and black poplar now form a mature high canopy, allowing ample light to reach the lower levels, and fostering a rich undergrowth of grasses, ferns, and ground fauna. The woodland is also home to a variety of other species, including maple, oak, hazel, hawthorn, sycamore, ash, and birch.

A delightful stream runs from the northern edge to the western corner of the wood, drawing an abundance of wildlife, with deer being frequent visitors. The current owner has developed wonderful open pathways over the years, guiding you throughout the site. Strong bridges have been strategically placed over the stream and culverts, enabling access to the entire woodland by 4x4 vehicles.

The terrain is flat and features numerous open glades, perfect for camping during the summer months. The site offers complete seclusion and privacy, with no public access routes through or near the larger Gayhurst Wood.

The nearby town of Newport Pagnell is a short drive away, providing a variety of restaurants, shops, pubs, and other services.

Ward is Newport Pagnell North & Hanslope and the county council is Milton Keynes.

Boundaries: The western boundary follows a country lane, north, east and south follow the main access track, wide open rides and neighbouring woodland beyond. The boundary is open on all sides. 

Access: There is excellent vehicle access via a shared locked gate and hard track, marked in blue on the map. Parking is also possible in the woodland itself. 

Covenant: There is a covenant on the wood designed to ensure the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of this and adjoining woodlands.

Viewing: You are welcome to visit this wood by yourself, but please download the details showing the location of the woodland and ensure that you have a copy of these sales details with you.
