This unique and immaculate family home, offers deceptively spacious accommodation and the rare opportunity for multi-generational family living. The house is situated in a very sought after, convenient but semi-rural location, within a short & pavemented walk of the village centre and its popular pubs and amenities.

Set back off the road behind a wide carriage drive that provides off street parking for six vehicles, the house backs directly on to woodland with views over surrounding farmland to the front aspect.

Internally the house is versatile, modern and very well kept. On the ground floor are two very large reception rooms, a modern kitchen & utility room, and two additional rooms adjacent to the bathroom; which can be used as reception rooms or bedrooms. The integral garage is a vast internal space adjacent to the utility room which could comfortably be converted to an independent annexe.

On the first floor are 3 large double bedrooms and a large modern bathroom. One could easily adapt this floor and introduce another bathroom or two. The landscaped rear garden is a very private and peaceful oasis, with the benefit of an ideal south orientation backing woodland, with a very spacious and smart timber cabin in situ. The cabin has mains drainage and has been constructed for independent living, with a lounge & bedroom area, as well as a kitchenette & shower room. This very individual home must be viewed internally to appreciate the quality and simple adaptability,

A note from the owners.

We have lived in our home, The Timber Carriage for 23 years. It has been a fantastic home for our family to grow up. Our Orangery has leant itself for 21st Birthdays, large gatherings, and on one occasion for Christmas lunch for 20 people. We have worked hard on our beautiful south facing garden, which is very private, with stunning vistas that change throughout the year. We also have two log burning stoves making the home very cosy in the winter.

Our home is multi generational with an elderly relative living downstairs for two months each year and our grown up children making use of the fully serviced large log cabin.

Herongate and Ingrave are both very active villages, steeped in history and we know so many people here and have many life-long friends. We have three pubs, a cricket and football club, two churches ,a village store and a petrol station with a mini supermarket. We literally have everything, including a village duck pond.

Commuting is easy with West Horndon on the C2C just seven minutes away with Brentwood and Shenfield just ten minutes away. There is also a bus service into Brentwood. The village junior school and the local secondary school are both excellent.

Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
