Being centrally located, The Horns Dam is also in easy reach of the costal resorts of Lytham, St Annes, Blackpool, Fleetwood, Morcambe and an Hours drive from Cumbrias Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.

Two bedrooms, One shower room with shower, toilet and wash hand basin, Master bedroom features fitted wardrobes and en-suite with shower, toilet and wash hand basin. Fitted kitchen benefits from wall and base storage units with fitted appliances.

This is not a residential site and can only be accessed between February 6th and December 15th or each year. The site is allowing consecutive stays of up to 2 weeks per month and 3 weeks per month during June, July and August. The site is available every weekend between February 6th and December 15th. No Subletting allowed.

One dog is allowed, check with proprietors if your dog breed is allowed.

Horns Dam Terms and Conditions

Barbecues: Only British Standard Approved barbecues may be used, but not within 2 metres of any holiday home and not on grassed area. No disposable BBQ-s or Fire Pits are allowed.

Boiler servicing: Reduced charge if done at the same time as gas certificate.

Caravan owners: Must not sub-let their caravan, or allow it to be used for parties or groups of youths. Each caravan and surrounding areas must be kept clean and tidy and free from litter, clutter or storage, except for one regulation size storage box. No washing lines or racks accept the type which attach to your caravan window.

No plants, trees, bushes or flowers should be planted except by the park managers. Two flower pots may be kept on the decking. No flags, bunting, decorations, notices, or, signage may be displayed.

Decking: Must be kept clean and tidy and must not be painted or altered in any way without the park owners permission, any damage will be charged to the caravan owner-s account.

Dogs: All dogs must be registered with the management and kept on leads at all times. Dogs are not allowed round the fishing lakes and dog mess must be removed immediately. Visitor-s dogs are not allowed on Lakeside Holiday Park, or, any other part of Horns Dam premises. Rottweilers, Alsatians, Staffordshire Pit Bulls, American Bull dogs, or any other dogs listed on the Dangerous Dogs Act will not be accepted.

Drain Down: If required please complete the form and hand it to reception in good time.

Ducks: Have an abundance of natural food, so to avoid attracting vermin, do not leave bread, bait, or any food on the ground, around the lakes, near your caravan, or, under the decking.

Electric meters: Will be invoiced six monthly. Late payment may result in disconnection.

Fires and chimneys are forbidden on decking or anywhere else on the park.

Fishing: No charge for two persons per pitch. Additional relatives and friends must pay the standard rates.

All fishermen must observe the rules and bait restrictions as per the Horns Dam website.

Gas bottles: Ordered and invoiced from reception. Two bottles only per caravan, must always be stored in an upright position and not under the caravan or decking.

Gas certificates: The caravan is certified for 2023. Annual gas checks are mandatary and arranged at reception.

Insurance: The caravan owner-s responsibility from the date of purchase and each year there after.

Parking: Caravan owners must park on their own designated plot. Transit vans, commercial vehicles and trailers must remain on the main car park as should all visitor-s vehicles.

Peace and quiet: To maintain a peaceful environment, there is a wide choice of local venues for large gatherings, parties and celebrations.

Static caravan age limit – New static caravans have an on-site guide limit of 15 years.

Beyond that, will depend on the condition of the caravan and the park manager-s discretion.

Site fees: Site fees will qualify for a reduction if paid by Dec 15th. If full payment is not received by February 6th the tenancy may be terminated. Annual increases will be subject to current costs and the park manager-s discretion.

Site fees include: VAT, Ground rent, Rates, Water, Refuse collection, Environment charges & Fishing for two people.

Sub-letting is strictly forbidden. The caravan is only for the use of the owners and their immediate families.

Television: Set up may be arranged at reception and carried out by ‘Wave- the specialist company for Horns Dam.

A fee will be charged for this service.

Toilets: Rural districts are not on mains sewerage systems as in towns & cities, instead, a septic tank system is maintained by the proprietors. Therefore, please ensure that ladies sanitary products, wipes and any other unsuitable items are not flushed down the toilet.

Trades people: No tradespeople, or deliveries will be allowed on site, except those approved by the management.

Wifi: Your own account may be arranged at reception.

Winter closed period:

The caravan park will close on December 15th and re-open on February 6th. You may visit the caravan between

10:00 am and 4:00 pm, but not outside those hours. Please be off the park by 4:00 pm when the gate is locked.

Please do not leave any vehicles, trailers, or, any other personal effects during the closed season.
