From the owner -
When we bought the flat we were drawn to the amount of space, the private garden and the location - right opposite Brunswick Park and just a few minutes walk from the pubs and restaurants in Camberwell.
The flat is bigger than others we had seen and feels spacious, with a large double bedroom, a big main living room with space for a dining table and a separate good-sized kitchen. The space has worked really well for us over the years, with plenty of room for entertaining, working from home and storing all our things. Having a porch has been handy to keep our bikes in too.
We love being on the ground floor, with the back door from the kitchen leading out to the garden so we can potter in and out on a sunny day. We had the garden redesigned to make it great for socialising and easy to maintain. We've enjoyed hosting friends and eating many a meal outside in the garden over the years.
The location is perfect for making the most of Camberwell. Just a couple of minutes' walk from Camberwell Church Street with pubs, restaurants and coffee shops like Camberwell Arms, Theo's and Lumberjack. You're also right opposite the entrance to Brunswick Park which is ideal for walking the dog, playing tennis or grabbing a coffee. The street itself is set back from the main road so it feels nice and peaceful whilst being so close to the heart of Camberwell.
It's easy to get into central London on the bus, or you can jump on a bus to Oval/Elephant and Castle or Vauxhall tube, or get the train from Denmark Hill which is 12 minutes away.
We now need to move as we've had a baby and we're now thinking about the future and we'll miss having everything on our doorstep and the lovely community there is here in Camberwell.

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:
Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on May 3, 2022
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on May 3, 2022
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on April 24, 2016 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
