Addington is a village in the English county of Kent. It is close to the M20 motorway, and between the villages of Wrotham Heath and West Malling. In the Domesday Book of 1086 it is called Eddintune. The meaning of the village's name is ’the land of Eda the Saxon’. Addington has the Angel Inn, a cricket club, recreation ground, village hall and is just a short way from West Malling town which has the benefit of shops, plenty of restaurants, pubs, cafés and tea-rooms, with a range of individual stores and monthly Farmers' Market to enjoy.
