Introduction - Located in the oldest part of Knighton, the town of the Dyke which dates back the 12th Century, is this hidden gem, a wonderful quaint cottage with a 120 ft long garden. The second staircase is from the living room, leading up to a large landing area with exposed floorboards, beams and a period door. The main bedroom has a a view to the front, exposed beams and cottage windows with wooden sill. There is also a staircase which leads from this bedroom to the attic. The landing leads to a through room which could be used as an occasional bedroom or dressing area. There is a further bedroom and bathroom off this room. The bathroom has a white suite, with roll top bath, tiled flooring and exposed beams. The second bedroom is a double room which overlooks the garden.

Adjoining Outbuildings - Adjoining the property on the left hand side are the outbuildings which include the utility, and workshop. A door from outside takes you into the utility with a window, plumbing and space for washing machine. There is also a toilet and ceramic Belfast sink with ceramic slate coloured tiled flooring, light and power and the boiler. The workshop is a great space with light and power and a window to the garden.

Garden - From the rear porch you step out onto the patio area, with paved area and stone steps up to a gravelled area with a pergola, a perfect set up for a table and chairs to enjoy the summer months. Off to the side of the house by the utility is the outdoor shower which is a great way to enjoy the garden and quiet location. An archway leads you down to the lawned area, bordered by mature hedges and at the bottom of the garden is a compost area. To the side is an area perfect for planting plants and shrubs. The garden extends to 120 ft altogether and is a lovely peaceful and very private area with mature fruit trees and soft fruit bushes.

Location - Market Street is located in the oldest part of Knighton within the conservation area and is conveniently located for accessing the town centre. Knighton (Tref y Clawdd) which is located in Mid Wales, and is a market town within the historic county boundary of Radnorshire, lying on the river Teme, with a railway station on the Heart of Wales line. The Offas Dyke footpath is a 177 mile National Trail footpath that closely follows the England/Wales border. It opened in 1971 from Prestatyn to Chepstow with Knighton sitting at the half way point with a visitors centre. Knighton has a primary school, supermarket, leisure centre and many other smaller independent shops. The larger market town of Ludlow, 16 miles has a wider variety of facilities and hosts the famous Ludlow Food Festival. The larger Spa town of Llandrindod Wells, 18 miles offers a further wider range of facilities.
