Seller's Story

This house has been a great family home for the last 26 years. Ourselves and our growing family have enjoyed the space within the home to entertain family and friends and the size of the garden has allowed many a party.

During the earlier years, the children had the bottom part of the garden for a park area, and a football pitch. Once they left home it became our space to sit and unwind after a long day.

Initially, the garden was what sold this house to us, being so peaceful and quiet. The house and layout of the garden have changed considerably, having a loft conversion being the biggest factor. The Koi pool and garden room also totally transformed the outside space.

Our favourite room must be the Garden room/bar we spent many an hour in there during the lockdown, somewhere to escape to for a change of scenery. We have held quizzes and games nights as well as a hasty retreat when the weather turns during a BBQ.

There are some incredible memories in this home, such as our son’s 18th birthday party which was held at home with a band playing at the bottom of the garden and over 70 people in attendance, just milling around the house and garden and having a great time eating and drinking.

We have enjoyed watching our family grow and be happy in this house, the local schools, and the amenities. Paul's Land is just a 5-minute walk away to exercise the dogs which has been great. We now have our grandchildren visit and they enjoy the house and garden as much as their parents used to.

We will miss our garden room/bar – we will definitely have to build another one in our next home!

We will miss the local amenities, shops, pubs and being close to town, but it’s time for us to move more rural and fulfil our dream of having some land.
