The Property - This end of terrace cottage has accommodation arranged over three floors and is situated in a desirable location, about quarter of a mile from the town centre. Baskerville is a no-through road and there is therefore little passing traffic. The front windows and front door were replaced in 2020 and a gas fired combination boiler supplies central heating and hot water.
The Accommodation - The front door leads into a sitting room with a stone fireplace fitted with a log burning stove. To the right is a TV display area and above the front door is a cupboard housing the electricity meter and consumer unit. A door and stairs lead off to the first floor, with a shelved cupboard under. The kitchen at the rear has a double sink, a range of units and a cooker in a former fireplace recess. There is under-counter space for a fridge and washing machine. On the first floor there is a decent double bedroom at the front with a Victorian grate, pine floorboards and two built-in storage cupboards. At the rear is a single bedroom and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. From the first floor landing a door and stairs lead to a large attic bedroom which is dual aspect and also has pine floorboards.
Outside - A shared path and steps lead up to the front of the cottage where there is a lawn and surrounding borders. A shared path to the right of the cottage leads to a rear yard where No 50 has a shed and open store. On the right steps lead up to a raised area of sunny garden from where you can enjoy country views.
General - All mains connected. The gas combination boiler in the kitchen supplies central heating and hot water. Council Tax band C - £2,132.81 payable for 2024/25. EPC rating E - 46.
Location - Malmesbury lies close to the border of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, 14 miles south of Cirencester and 10 miles north of Chippenham, with Swindon 16 miles to the east and Bath 24 miles to the west. It has a good selection of shops including a Waitrose supermarket, a regular farmers' market, a library, museum, leisure centre with pool, two primary schools and an Ofsted rated Outstanding secondary school. It is also home to the UK headquarters of Dyson, who employ over 3000 people. J17 of the M4, 5 miles south, provides access to the area's major employment centres and there are trains to Paddington in just over an hour from Chippenham, Kemble and Swindon.
Directions To Sn16 9Bs - From the Priory roundabout take the first exit and continue over the river bridge. Take the first right into St John Street and continue over the Bowls Club bridge and into Baskerville. Shortly after the Mill building, No 50 is on the raised bank on your left hand side.

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:
Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on January 26, 2022
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on February 11, 2022
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on February 25, 2019 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
