This property was love at 'first sight' after viewing many others and has served us very well over the last 8 years that we have been living here. After careful consideration, we decided on Orchard Grove due to its proximity to Crystal Palace park which can be regarded as one of the best parks London has to offer. Crystal Palace National Sports Centre is also close by and offers child care facilities as well as a range of activities for adults including a large gym all at an affordable price. Just a short walk away, Crystal Palace station (Southern railway & Overground) provides excellent links across London and you are pretty much guaranteed to get a seat for your journey from this refurbished station. The property itself has windows all round given that it occupies the entire floor on the one side of the building which allows light to flow in throughout.
Orchard Grove itself has a very nice community of people living here and we have made some life long friends. The flat has the same floor space as some of the houses in the development, with ample storage that has allowed us to use it to keep a spare freezer and 2 bicycles plus still leaving enough space for a pantry. I can honestly say we have taken care of our property having recently refurbished both the bathroom and kitchen, plus with the double glazing our heating bills are very affordable so I can say that living here has not been expensive at all.
We have loved living in this area and will miss things like Crystal Palace park and the famous Crystal Palace "Triangle" where we spent most of our weekends with family and friends but we are moving on now and hope our property will become a loving home for someone as it has been for us. This property is presented part furnished.
