SITUATION

Swan Cottage is situated within a conservation area about two miles from the coast. The neighbouring villages of Cley-next-the-Sea and Blakeney are perfectly placed for easy access to the saltmarshes, Blakeney harbour and Blakeney Point. There are many ways to while away leisure hours in this beautiful part of the world including sailing, bird and seal watching, cycling, golf, coastal walking and numerous fine beaches to discover.

The North Norfolk coast is designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty and is famed for its bird reserves, sandy beaches and sailing. There are a number of golf courses, notably at Sheringham, Cromer and West Runton. There is a buzz in the air in North Norfolk and the surrounding area enjoys everything from locally sourced butchers, fishmongers and farmers markets to artisan bakers, coffee shops, restaurants, delicatessens, up-market farm shops and art galleries.

Holt, a town renowned for its attractive street frontages and for its wide and eclectic range of independent shops cafes and bars. There are two sets of Norfolk winder stairs in the house, one leads up from the kitchen to the main bedroom above, a nicely proportioned room with views over the garden. Beyond this is a smaller room which was used as a study. It could be a single bedroom but currently access is through the main bedroom.
