Property description & features

"I have been lucky to live on Brockhurst Road with such lovely neighbours during the last five years. There are twenty-four hour buses that take you into the city with a stop less than 50 metres from the door. Staying locally, it's also got it's own community with The Orchard Cafe nearby and the newly refurbished Rose and Crown Pub a stone's throw away, which does great Sunday roasts in front of the cosy fire, the perfect place to retreat to after a stomp in the neighbouring Troopers Hill Wildlife reserve. Situated on top of a hill, what I'll miss most about this house is the abundance of light and epic panoramic views of Wales and the Mendips."

Brockhurst Road is a quiet residential street located to the East of St George's Park and bordering Kingswood just off Bell Hill Road leading to Church Road. St George's Park is one of the city's most popular green spaces providing a kids play area, tennis courts, a cafe, a skate park, and a lake. St George has many exciting independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, including to the very popular Red Church and Orchard Café. On from this, the much loved Bristol Loaf and The Lock-Up are staples in this community. The shops and cafes of Kingswood are also easily accessible via the Two Mile Hill Road. There are several well-regarded schools in the area, meaning this is a popular area with families. For commuters, it is a short journey into Bristol City Centre by bus, bike or car, whilst also being just a short drive from Bath and the motorway networks as well. From this side of the City Centre, Bristol Temple Meads is just a short journey away.

A beautiful four bedroom, three storey home on Brockhurst Road in St George with off street parking. On entry, you are welcomed by a porch leading into the spacious 1930's entrance hallway with storage beneath the stairs. The lounge has been tastefully decorated and includes a charming fireplace. Located behind is the spacious 'L' shaped kitchen/diner, an idyllic space for families. The combination of both the large bi-folding doors and windows in the kitchen flood the room with natural light and make it a perfect space to enjoy summer BBQ's with friends. The contemporary fitted kitchen includes ample room for storage and come integrated appliances. Outside, the private west facing garden has been laid with pathing, artificial lawn and enjoys a brick out building currently utilised as a home gym but could also be an office.

The first floor accommodates three bedrooms, two of which are larger double bedrooms and there is a tiled three piece suite with shower over bath. Lastly, the top floor has been converted into the master suite with incredible far reaching views. The landing also has a storage area and access to the shower room.
