Comments from the owner:

Top 3 things you love about your home

It's bigger than you might expect a one-bed apartment to be, and the layout has really worked for us (we've both lived there separately and as a couple) and in both instances it's really felt like 'home'

You can put your own stamp on it - it's a largely neutral space that is easy to make an impact on in terms of how you furnish it or choose to personalise it

It's low maintenance - it's a modern property that doesn't require an investment in upkeep and its design means it's easy to keep looking nice (and it's an easy space to clean!)

Top 3 things you love about the area

Proximity to amenities - being in walking distance to shops and supermarkets, multiple major transport links (now the Elizabeth Line, DLR, buses and trains) and independent restaurants and cafes mean there's a great balance of plenty on the doorstep, yet getting anywhere else in the city (and beyond) is also easy

Proximity to the river - London can at times feel like an 'urban jungle', so to be this close to the water with flat, accessible paths along huge sections of it has meant being outdoors for walking or running is so easy, and gives a breather from feeling in the heart of the city

The community - there are lots of active community groups in person and online (Facebook etc), so you feel like someone will always have an answer to a question you have, or a recommendation. I think there are lots of areas of London where it's easy to feel anonymous, but this area definitely has a 'neighbourhood' feel and it's easy to get to know people and bump into them locally.

Property Details:

Accommodation comprises an entrance hall leading into the inviting, open plan reception/kitchen with ample space for relaxing and dining. The kitchen area comprises a modern range of matching white fronted high gloss wall and base units with granite work surfaces incorporating inset sink unit, hob with overhead extractor and electric oven below, and further integrated appliances including a dishwasher. There is a well sized double bedroom, plus a stylish bathroom with white three piece suite, elegant tiling and useful inbuilt storage.

The property is enviably located on the banks of the River Thames and within just a short distance of the Woolwich Ferry. Woolwich Arsenal stations & Woolwich station offer unrivalled Elizabeth line, DLR and mainline services for excellent links to Central London, Canary Wharf and the City. The banks of the Thames provide pleasant riverside walks, and the area is well served by an array of pubs, restaurants, cafes and street food options, as well as a popular Farmers Market and the fantastic Woolwich Works venue which offers an eclectic diary of events, music and dining opportunities.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on December 16, 2021

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on January 7, 2022

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on January 25, 2024 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.

Any supplementary data should not be relied upon as forming part of any property particulars and OnTheMarket cannot be held responsible for any incorrectness in this data. See here for more information.
