VENDORS COMMENTS:
We moved in to Keepers Green Cottage over fourteen years ago, the children quickly settling in to the nursery and amongst other families we quickly found friends ourselves. In those early years we would enjoy the buzz in the playground at the end of school, when the children would feast on ice-cream and the parents would make plans for weekend get-togethers. It's such a joy to part of the warm village community and the cottage has been our foundation stone at the heart of it over the years. The neighbours are friendly, relaxed and supportive, and many times we've exchanged plants over our garden walls with one another always stopping to chat. In recent months, whilst working from home, the countryside walks, beginning right on the doorstep, that take you down lanes, across fields, over streams and through woods, have never failed to bring refreshment and relaxation. It's such a privilege to live in this characterful village surrounded by a fold of valleys, blanket of woods and expanse of open common. Keepers Green Cottage is a very special place that we will greatly miss and forever cherish.

Outside - Access to the rear garden from the breakfast room with steps leading up to a delightful cottage garden. a chipping area provides a perfect sun terrace to enjoy that morning coffee.

The garden opens to a lawned area with a wealth of shrubs and great space for all the family to enjoy.

To the head of the garden is an insulated workshop or potentially with some modernisation could be a home office. There is a rear gate from the garden providing rear access.

A perfect garden to grow vegetables along with social space.

Minchinhampton is a small Cotswold Market Town elevated above valleys of A419 and A46. It is surrounded by National Trust owned land which adjoins Rodborough Common amasses 1000 acres. These commons are frequently occupied by herds of cattle and ponies who roam freely during summer months. Also a site for rare flora and fauna.

A strong sense of community with good social networks provides opportunity for all, with coffee shops, bistros & restaurants, a corner shop, a library, sports & social club with football and rugby teams, doctors, dentists and a number of pubs close by. Celebrated Winstones Ice Cream factory, has produced handcrafted artisan ice cream since 1925 and open daily.

Minchinhampton also benefits from a very highly regarded, sought after and Ofsted rated 'Good' primary school - The Minchinhampton C of E Primary Academy. The school also provides a nursery which has an equally positive reputation.

Nailsworth is approximately 1 miles, offers all usual amenities, a wonderful diverse selection of shops and leisure activities including: golf courses, riding stables, bowls club, gliding and polo clubs. Stroud only 4 miles aids this diversity. All within easy access of main transport routes and railway station.
