Beacon Cove is a small beach located in Torquay, a tourist resort in South Devon, England. The Cove is situated at the base of a steep cliff and is sheltered from the wind by the surrounding hills, making it a popular spot for swimming and sunbathing. Historically, Beacon Cove was an important landing site for boats and ships and is used as a harbour for an export of local goods such as lymestone and coal. Today, Beacon Cove is a popular destination for tourist and locals alike, offering stunning views of the coastline and a beautiful places to relax and unwind. Beacon Cove is easily accessible by foot or by car and adjoins the Torquay Harbour and Marina. The surrounding area provides plenty of amenities including cafes, restaurants and public toilets. Torquay is a seaside town located on the east coast of Torbay, a large natural harbour that includes the neighbouring towns of Paignton and Brixham, making up the English Riviera.
