Ty Coch - meaning 'red house' in Welsh - is a spacious, three-bedroom bungalow nestled in a peaceful south Herefordshire village. The detached residence overlooks a young orchard and rolling countryside beyond the low-maintenance rear garden. It also boasts a secure, gated driveway plus a detached double garage.

Location:
Ty Coch is around three miles from Ross-on-Wye, a popular market town. The high street features an assortment of supermarkets, reputable schools, shops, independently owned boutiques, a range of restaurants, welcoming pubs and various leisure facilities.
The village of Glewstone includes the esteemed Glewstone Court Country House which houses a two Rosette-award restaurant. Another extremely well-regarded eatery, The New Inn at St Owen's Cross is just over two miles away. In 2023, the restaurant was awarded three Rosettes for Culinary Excellence and named the Best Restaurant with Rooms England 2023-2024 at the prestigious AA Hospitality Awards.
The village is also close to a series of major road networks; the A40 is around half a mile away and the eastbound road provides a direct route to Gloucester, Cheltenham and the Cotswolds. Meanwhile, motorists heading in the opposite direction can journey towards the M4 at Newport which gives access to Cardiff and London. In addition, the M50 motorway begins near Ross, and this gives good access to the M5.

The home at a glance
Ty Coch is tucked away behind a five-bar gate, encircled by mature hedging. The main entrance leads into a generously sized reception hall and, to the left, there are three reception rooms. The first is presently used as a playroom but could also serve as an ideal study, dining room or snug. Further along, there is a capacious sitting room which boasts a feature fireplace housing a woodburning stove. Presently, a cased opening links it with the playroom but the double doors can easily be reinstated if required. At the far end, a set of French doors lead through to a triple-aspect conservatory which lets plenty of natural light cascade in.
The kitchen carries washed oak-style floor and eye-level units which give a wealth of storage space. There is an electric oven, a gas hob and an extractor fan, plus space and plumbing for a dishwasher. Through to the right, there is a substantial utility room that includes units which match those found in the kitchen, as well as space and plumbing for both a washing machine and tumble dryer, space for a fridge freezer, a Worcester combi boiler and a door that leads out to the rear garden.
The master bedroom overlooks this lovely rear garden and also boasts an en-suite bathroom which features an on-trend decorative tile floor, a double walk-in shower and a two-piece white suite. The remaining two bedrooms are both large enough to accommodate double beds and one of these features a built-in wardrobe as well as a dressing room which could be converted into an en-suite. In terms of washing facilities, there is a recently-fitted family bathroom which contains a three-piece white suite and an illuminated mirror. There is also a modern cloakroom in the reception hall.
Outside the front of the home, there is an expansive gravel driveway as well as two garden sheds, plus a wooden deck which is sheltered by a pergola. The rear garden has a pretty backdrop over the surrounding scenery and features a level lawn, a patio, a summerhouse and a greenhouse.

Stay on this road, pass Glewstone Court on the left-hand side of the road and just before the road dips down the hill, Ty Coch will be found on the right-hand side almost opposite the small cul-de-sac of bungalows.
