The property is principally of timber framed construction presenting part red brick elevations in Flemish Bond with stone dressings to the openings, beneath a roof of red clay tiles.

The main Oak front door (with ‘Linenfold panels set in a chamfered stone surround with carved spandrels and Tudor head’) opens to the entrance hall which contains a Tudor brick fireplace with stone surround and main staircase that leads to the first floor galleried landing. Gently rising steps lead to the central reception hall/music room, having large French doors opening to the south facing Yorkstone terrace and wide doors opening to the well-proportioned drawing room. This elegant room has an ornate frieze and two sets of double French doors set to either side of a central fireplace, with ornate carved surround and over-mantel.

The dining room also benefits from an open fireplace with carved marble surround and two full height sash windows overlooking the terrace and gardens and a further door linking to the kitchen and breakfast room beyond which currently forms part of the annex. Doors from the breakfast room open to the secondary staircase , secondary hall, utility room (with former workshops beyond that now comprise a kitchenette and home gym) There is a panelled sitting room with brick fireplace and ornately carved over-mantel with further doors to secondary hall and good sized study that links back to the entrance hall.

The main galleried landing gives way to the master bedroom suite, guest suite, two bathrooms and three bedrooms, one of which links to the secondary staircase landing that in turn gives access to two further bedrooms and a shower room. There are a further two good sized bedrooms on the second floor.

Outside:
