A wonderful village house, tucked away within this most popular of Wiltshire villages, with an extremely well-proportioned detached home office/garden room, at the top of the garden.

Hideaway Cottage is of brick and slate tile construction currently arranged with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with excellent entertaining space downstairs including a large sitting room with conservatory, overlooking the formal rear gardens, fully fitted eat-in kitchen, cloakroom and study. The vaulted principle bedroom has a delightful outlook to the rear, with full length windows opening onto a glazed balcony. The owners have created an ensuite shower room to the principle bedroom as well as a number of other updates and decorative improvements.
The cottage is approached across a shared drive through iron gates to its own private driveway, able to accommodate a good number of vehicles.
The gardens are mainly set across a small stream, accessed by a charming timber bridge, and principally laid to lawn leading to the substantial timber outbuilding, with power and water, including a w.c.. There is a delightful decked seating area, though it would benefit from a level of updating.

Wilton is a very popular village with an excellent pub and beautiful walks. An approximate 5 minute drive from the house is the larger village of Great Bedwyn which has a train station with direct links to London, plus two pubs, a post office and two village shops. The market towns of Hungerford, Pewsey and Marlborough offer a wider range of facilities and are all within 8 miles (15 minute) drive of Wilton. The house is in the school catchment area for St. John's the outstanding secondary school in Marlborough and the outstanding primary school in Great Bedwyn. There are also several good independent schools within easy driving distance.

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on April 9, 2022 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
