Homeowner's View

We chose Pitts Lane for its incredible convenience, drawn by the regular bus service to Reading Station and the Royal Berkshire Hospital, which made our daily routines effortless. The proximity to M&S for quick essentials and Aldi for our weekly shop added to the appeal. Woodley Shopping Centre quickly became our favourite spot for a weekend coffee, and Bulmersh Leisure Centre, ideal for a swim or a workout, was a hit, especially with our grandchild enjoying the nearby playing fields.

The separate dining room was an important element for us, as hosting dinner parties is something we've always cherished. It became the heart of our home, where we've shared many memorable evenings with friends and family. Our garden, blessed with sunshine all day, has seen many BBQ get-togethers. The sense of community here is strong, thanks in large part to our welcoming neighbours. This place has been more than just a house to us; it's been a warm and inviting home, and we hope the next family finds as much joy in living here as we have.

Alex's View

This three-bedroom detached house sits on Pitts Lane, boasting 1,500 square feet of space. Built circa 1970, it offers a welcoming entrance hall leading to a cloakroom and utility room on the left which opens onto a patio area, providing access to the garden. There is a generously-sized kitchen to the right, flowing into an extended family room across the rear. Adjacent to the kitchen is a spacious separate dining room. Upstairs, there are two spacious double bedrooms, one small double bedroom, and a modern family bathroom. To the right of the property is a workshop with conversion potential for a home office or storage. The property boasted driveway parking for 2-3 vehicles.

Area View

The location is fantastic, with proximity to the M&S Foodhall, A329M & M4, Bulmersh School, St Peter's Primary, Highwood's Primary, Woodley Shopping Centre, bus routes to Reading Town Centre via the Royal Berkshire Hospital, a nearby Co-op, and open green space to enjoy.

We look forward to meeting you.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on November 15, 2022

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on November 15, 2022

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on June 10, 2020 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
