The beach at Bowleaze Cove lies just a few hundred yards below the house. The Cove is popular for its sheltered Sandy Beach and a magnet for watersports enthusiasts, particularly popular with wind and kite surfers.

From the house it is approximately a two mile walk along the sea front to the town centre.

Weymouth provides a comprehensive range of facilities and the main town beach is a huge draw.

Directions

From Dorchester take the A352 Wareham road for approximately four miles and at the roundabout turn right towards the A352 signposted to Weymouth. Drive through the villages of Poxwell and Osmington and into Preston. At the mini-roundabout turn left towards Weymouth and at Overcombe at the sea front turn left into Bowleaze Coveway. Drive up the hill and after ½ mile Uplands will be located on the left hand side.
