Description

Moor Cottage is a fabulous modern, contemporary property, which replaced a previous dwelling and was completed about three years ago (2021). The house has been designed to allow in plenty of natural light with large windows and bi-fold doors off the reception rooms, which open out onto the patio. The sun moves around the house all day allowing you to enjoy the house to it's fullest.

The open plan living space, offers the feeling of openness with Amtico flooring throughout the ground floor. The main reception room has a wood affect LPG stove and French doors leading outside. This room is triple aspect with all windows, including the French doors, having fitted blinds. A vestibule leads off, where there are two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom and the other with fitted wardrobes. There is a separate cloakroom within the entrance hall.

The fabulous living kitchen is a wow factor of this home, with two sets of bi-folding doors with fitted blinds, leading onto the patio and gardens, a wood burning stove and the kitchen, which has been thoughtfully designed. There are wall and base units, a Belfast sink and a central island with Onyx worktops. Integrated appliances include a fridge freezer, dishwasher and a Zanussi oven and a separate microwave. There is under lighting to all of the units, including the central island which also has an integrated induction hob. There is a separate utility room off the kitchen, which has units, a sink, space for white goods and a stable door leading outside.

Stairs rise from the entrance hall to the first floor, where you can get a really good view of the surrounding countryside. There are two double bedrooms on this floor, both with built in wardrobes and one with an en suite shower room. This space would work well as a principal suite.

Outside.

Moor Cottage is approached via a tarmac driveway, with double electric gates, which gently rises to a large parking area with space for a number of vehicles. There is an attractive oak framed double car port, with steps to the side leading to a garden, fitted with Astro-turf, which extends to a pathway leading to a patio area to admire the views. There is post and rail fencing with a further section of land behind which is currently left wild. This area could very well be suitable for a vegetable plot.

The house may be accessed via both sides where it opens onto a garden to the rear, with a garden shed and the fabulous summerhouse/bar. The current owners have used this as a pub for their own private use, and it makes a fabulous entertaining area with two sets of French doors onto a decking area. This building could also serve as a home office or gym. The garden extends around the side of the house including the patio area, so there is plenty of space for enjoying the sunshine and to enjoy the countryside beyond.
