What it is

First time to the market in over 35 years is this charming 3 bedroom detached house, situated in the sought-after area of Oakdale. There is a porch as your enter which is ideal for shoes and coats. As you continue into the house you have a lovely open hallway which leads into the open plan lounge/dining room. This is a great space and benefits dual aspect windows allowing light to flow through. To the rear of the home is the kitchen with plenty of storage, space for appliances and access to the rear garden.

The first floor consists of three well-proportioned bedrooms. A family bathroom completes this floor, fitted with contemporary fixtures.

One of the highlights of this property is its lovely rear garden. The garden boasts well-maintained lawns, and a decking idea, perfect for outdoor dining or simply enjoying the sunshine. There is parking to the front of the property for approx. 2 cars.

What the owner says

“This house has been in the family for over 35 years so has been a much-loved home. It's a lovely, bright and sunny house and after moving in here myself in 2015 I had it fully renovated and updated. Turning the smallest bedroom into an office also made it perfect for me to work from home. I love the garden which really comes to life in the Spring, and the seating areas catch the sun until late in the day which makes it a lovely sociable space. I will be sad to leave it as it's been a lovely home in a really convenient location but I do feel it's time to move on.”

Where it is

Sat in the heart of Oakdale, there are local shops and amenities within walking distance. Poole is within a 5 minute drive and offers a variety of shops, restaurants and bars.

Places of interest

Bold gestures are great, but we know that it is the small and simple touches that make a real difference. Keeping in touch, being honest, not baffling you with jargon, thinking about your circumstances when organising viewings, a smile, some reassurance. But behind the scenes, we are quick to grasp any opportunities, ninjas in negotiation, and serious about the way we do business.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on January 15, 2024

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area

Any supplementary data should not be relied upon as forming part of any property particulars and OnTheMarket cannot be held responsible for any incorrectness in this data. See here for more information.

    *Call rate information

Calls to 0843 numbers will be charged at 4p/min from BT landlines. Calls from other networks may vary, and calls from mobiles and outside the UK will be higher. Calls to local numbers beginning with 01, 02 and 03 numbers will incur standard geographic charges from landlines and mobiles.
