Historical Note
Pilleth was the location of one of the most important battles in Welsh history. In June 1402 during the Battle of Bryn Glas where the Welsh Forces of Owian Glyndwr defeated the English forces of Sir Edmond Mortimer.

The area is blessed with a good network of footpaths and bridleways providing direct access to the surrounding countryside.
