The Location
Granite Apartments is located on Windmill Lane and is therefore extremely well located for the local transport links of the area including Stratford, Stratford International and Maryland stations. Local amenities include those in Westfield Stratford, as well as a number of local cafés, eateries and a large superstore. For those who like exercise and green spaces, the Olympic swimming pool and park, as well as Victoria Park and Hackney Marshes, are all close by and are great for swimming, walking, running and cycling.
Our View
This is a lovely modern apartment that offers any purchaser to move directly in with potential to add one's own identity or simply keep the fresh, bright décor. The local area is rapidly developing, with the addition of several new eateries, in addition to the existing wealth of local shops. With the Elizabeth Line open, this is a property in a superb location but still has potential to improve.
Owner’s comments
We’ve lived in this flat for more than seven years and will be sad to say goodbye to it. In the time we’ve been here, the area has developed and new shops, restaurants and bars are always opening up. The Elizabeth Line now passes through Maryland station, which is at the end of the road, and this has been unbelievably convenient, allowing us access to the City, Canary Wharf and the West End in under 20 minutes. This line has also opened up a direct route to Heathrow and these options are in addition to the tube and DLR options from Stratford station – a 9 minute walk. Another great improvement in the last couple of years has been the closure of Windmill Lane to through traffic which has significantly reduced noise in the area. We’ve loved this flat and it has been the perfect place for us to live and work in London over the last seven years.

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:
Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on December 16, 2021
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on December 21, 2021
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on January 23, 2020 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
