Property description & features

A double bedroom is available in a newly renovated 4-bedroom shared flat on two levels: fully furnished, well-lit thanks to its sunny window and spacious (3.5x2.9m), enough so to accommodate its king-size bed (ottoman-style for additional storage under the bed). The rent is £925 pcm, with a deposit of the same amount, and includes all bills (water, gas, electricity, fibre optic internet, council tax). The room is for one person and is available from May 1st 2024; minimum term is 3 months, although short lets can also be considered.

The flat itself is very bright due to its positioning, with common areas to be shared including as per pictures a cosy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom upstairs and an additional toilet downstairs. It is also relatively quiet, especially in the evening, as located in the upper corner of the building (so you’ll only have neighbours downstairs and on one side).

The flat is just a few minutes’ walk from two large supermarkets (Morrisson’s and Lidl) and many other shops and amenities along Rye Lane, Peckham’s main shopping area and semi-pedestrian street. For transportation, there is a bus stop down the building with many lines that will take you to the city center or the rest of South London, a bus garage with other lines a bit further (3-min walk), the Overground/train (8-min walk to Peckham Rye rail station in Zone 2), or even Zipcars on the streets nearby, providing overall great connections to London’s other areas.

I’m essentially looking for someone clean and tidy, reliable as well as respectful with the other flatmates but also the home.

About me, I am a professional working from home, living in London for over 6 years. I have been sharing flats/houses the majority of my student and professional life in 7 different countries over 3 continents so I’m quite used to it. The other flatmate is an Estonian student in landscape architecture.

Please contact me for more information/pictures or to arrange a viewing; looking forward to hearing from you!

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on December 22, 2021

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on December 22, 2021

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area

Any supplementary data should not be relied upon as forming part of any property particulars and OnTheMarket cannot be held responsible for any incorrectness in this data. See here for more information.

    *Call rate information

Calls to 0843 numbers will be charged at 4p/min from BT landlines. Calls from other networks may vary, and calls from mobiles and outside the UK will be higher. Calls to local numbers beginning with 01, 02 and 03 numbers will incur standard geographic charges from landlines and mobiles.
