Quietly placed towards the end of this popular residential development, within a small cul-de-sac, is this spacious detached three bedroom bungalow. The current owners have been here since it was built in the mid 1970's.
The bungalow has been updated over the years but is now ready for a new lease of life and would benefit from some updating. The gas fired boiler is relatively new, and double glazing has been installed throughout.
Just up the road, the development comes to an end next to open fields, where the canals barge horses are kept. The tow path of the canal is easily accessed within a couple of hundred yards, along which you can take a pleasant walk towards the town. The old railway line also provides a level walk into the town, but if you prefer an easier journey, a regular bus service is provided nearby.
A drive suitable for parking two cars leads to a single garage with an up and over door. The boiler is found within, and a personal door to the rear opens to the rear garden.
Inside the bungalow you will find a spacious sitting dining room, with large sliding patio doors opening to the garden. The kitchen offers plenty of storage and working surfaces, with a built in electric oven and hob with an extractor canopy above, plumbing for a washing machine and space for an under counter fridge. A door leads outside.
The three bedrooms are all spacious, two of them doubles, the larger of which has built in wardrobes and a dressing table. The bathroom offers a bath and wash basin, and the adjoining cloakroom offers a WC and wash hand basin.
Gardens lie front and back, and are nice and level. Predominantly grassed, and interspersed with various plants and shrubs. In the rear garden is a timber store and a greenhouse.
Tiverton is a thriving market town with a population of about 25,000 set in the picturesque Exe Valley, about fifteen miles north of the Cathedral city of Exeter. The town lies on the A361 North Devon Link Road with fast access to the North Devon Coast and also to Junction 27 of the M5 with its adjoining Parkway Station, from where one can reach Paddington in about two and a half hours.
The town has a good shopping centre and an excellent range of sporting and recreational facilities, including an indoor Bowling Club, a very good Sports Centre and also a modern Hospital.

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:
Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on July 12, 2022
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on July 12, 2022
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on December 4, 2023 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
Any supplementary data should not be relied upon as forming part of any property particulars and OnTheMarket cannot be held responsible for any incorrectness in this data. See here for more information.
