Property description & features

"We have loved our time on Imperial Walk, the house is so beautiful and full of light. The nature reserve behind the house creates a real oasis of calm - we'll really miss looking out from the kitchen onto the tree tops. And it's a great place for a dog walk, or to let little ones run around. There's such a lovely community and family feel on the street, with regular events such as lunches, carol singing and trick or treating. Our friends say it's like visiting a holiday home, and we've regularly had to pinch ourselves that we actually live here!"

The house is situated on Imperial Walk at the top of the Wells Road allowing it fantastic panoramic views of Bristol from the house. Imperial Walk is a quiet tree lined cul-de-sac of substantial and attractive 30's semi-detached homes making the road feel more spacious and green. The house is just minutes from the Wells Road with the popular Fox and West Deli, Acapella and Southside Bar, with its indoor and outdoor seating and serving local craft beers. Knowle is an extremely popular family area, with a brilliant combination of large houses, good schools and a choice of great parks. Knowle Park Primary, is just a short walk away and is very well-regarded and locally accessed through the park. Imperial Walk overlooks Callington Nature reserve offering a great escape from the city and excellent dog walks. For commuters, the area is very well placed, with Temple Meads and the several major employers around Temple Quay just around fifteen minutes away on foot, even close by bike or Voi. Bristol's scenic harbourside and city centre are also within walking distance, along with the independent shops, bars and cafes of North Street in Bedminster, whilst also being a short drive from the beautiful Mendips and Chew Valley to the south.

A beautiful 30's house set over three floors with amazing views over the nature reserve and masses of living space. The hallway of the house is a great size with original wooden flooring and loads of storage under the stairs. The reception is at the front of the house with a curved bay window, period fireplace and wooden floors. To the rear the house is a large kitchen/diner/family room, the kitchen has dark units and a breakfast bar and the dining area has a huge floor to ceiling window overlooking the nature reserve and door to the wrap around balcony. There is a lounge area with 30's fireplace and large glass sliding doors to the balcony. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a family bathroom with original 30's windows. The lower level of the house is home to a gym, a WC/shower room and a self contained one bedroom flat, perfect for a teenager or to rent out for some extra income. The large rear garden is paved and decked with a garden shed and plenty of mature trees ands shrubs. There is also a garage.

    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on September 2, 2015 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
