LOCATION
Toft Monks is a charming village with a lot to offer, especially given its proximity to Beccles. The combination of a popular pub, a Norman church, and beautiful countryside makes it an appealing location for those who appreciate a quieter setting. The fact that it's situated on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk likely adds to its unique character, allowing residents to enjoy the best of both counties. Beccles, being just four miles away, offers the convenience of a nearby town with its market squares, winding streets, and scenic views of the River Waveney and the Southern Broads. The blend of independent shops, restaurants, and cafes in the town centre provides a diverse range of options for shopping and dining. The sense of community is enhanced by the various events, festivals, and entertainment held throughout the year, contributing to the town's vibrant atmosphere. Gorleston is only a 20 minute drive and has recently been voted the best beach in England, while Southwold is just half an hour from here. The centre of Norwich is 30 minutes away too, so it's ideal if you work in the city but want to live in the country.

THE OWNERS THOUGHTS...
Due to a busy life we needed somewhere that was convenient for shopping, close to the coast and has an addition of outstanding views, well we certainly got that! We wanted a mix of low maintenance with high quality living and a no worries life, we got that too. So...why leave if it's so good? Well like everything in life, things changed and we need to be closer to family. Our small but perfectly formed home is our loss but could be your gain, you know what they say... "The best things come in small packages".
