The other top floor bedroom provided an excellent quiet study which was used for many years as a working from home base and a spare room for guests. The landscaped garden provided a fantastic space for many birthday parties, easter egg hunts and snowball fights as well as a relaxing family space benefitting from the south facing full sun. Following nearly a decade of family living in the house, my husband started working out of London so we relocated and rented the house to other families for another decade, most recently a family who lived there for eight plus years.
