What we think at the Zoe Napier Group
This impressive family home really has a wonderful feel and flow to it, being situated at the top of hill really gives the property a feeling of grandeur and the breathtaking views over the River Crouch are the icing on the cake! The semi-rural location and proximity to Maldon and Burnham-on-Crouch will appeal to maritime enthusiasts and the nearby train station allows an easy commute to London.
What the owner says
We purchased the property in 1988 and it really has been the most wonderful family home and location to bring our two children up in. We will genuinely miss the wonderful countryside walks and feeling of seclusion that our garden has given us but the time has come to downsize and allow another family to enjoy our beautiful home.
History & Background
This elegant and equally impressive 4000 sq ft residence is surrounded by a secluded 3.5 acre plot (stls) and enjoys sensational views over the River Crouch.
Originally constructed in 1953 as a spacious four bedroom home, the current owners added a substantial two storey extension to the rear in the late 1990’s providing an additional bedroom, spacious kitchen and garden room. Approximately ten years ago the vast loft was converted into a spacious games room/ bedroom with adjacent storage room (that could easily be converted into an en suite/ dressing area (stp) creating an extremely impressive principle bedroom suite.
The property boasts four principle receptions, all generous, bright and well proportioned rooms, that are mostly dual aspect and enjoy wonderful views over the grounds. Six double bedrooms are spread across the first and second floors and are complimented beautifully by the adjoining refurbished shower and bathrooms. The grounds are a particular feature, boasting optimum privacy via an abundance of mature hedging and trees and incorporate two tranquil Koi carp ponds.

Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
