A beautifully renovated family home

Description

Tucked away on the top of a valley is Theescombe Hill House in the picturesque region of Amberley in the Cotswolds. Hidden in plain sight you approach the gates along a winding road and from there you can catch a glimpse of this renovated family home, however, what you don't get to see is the magic of this property and this is only realised when you come down the driveway and you are blown away by the far reaching views of the Woodchester Valley. No matter what season it is this view will never lose its magic.

The design of the house was carefully thought out and it flows incredible well and one of the many jewels of this property is the expansive terrace with infinity pool which adds another dimension to this home and gives it a truly international feel. The tiered garden is low maintenance but high impact in its surroundings and creates a great sense of privacy in a very open space.

As you enter the house the interior is deliberately Scandi which creates a very calm bright space which is further boosted by the floor to ceiling doors which run along the length of the property which brings that valley view into all aspects of the house. The kitchen is a wonderful space which is perfect for socialising and for those nights which require formal entertaining you enter, via crittall doors, the stylish bar which last orders are never called! There is also a cosy snug area for less lively nights in this room. Also on the ground floor is a gym/wellness space, separate utility and guest WC.

On the upper floor the bedrooms have amazing ceiling height and the again floor to ceiling windows allow you to continue to enjoy the rural views. The principle bedroom with its dressing area and large en suite bathroom is a very exciting space and decorated beautifully. The remaining bedrooms are well proportioned doubles with en suite and finally a family bathroom.

The annexe has also been refurbished and is a standalone wonderful one bedroom space set out over two floors. The downstairs has a large open plan kitchen/living room with log burner and the upstairs a large bedroom with double height ceilings and en suite.

The main house benefits from underfloor heating and an MVHR system which purifies your air and helps keep the house at a cosy temperature throughout the year. There is ample parking at the end of the gravel driveway which is accessed via electric gates.

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
