Excellent chalk stream fishing on the river Dun (which runs through Lockerley) and on the river Test. Sailing and marinas on the Solent. Excellent local schools with the highly regarded Lockerley primary, secondary schools in Romsey, Stockbridge, Salisbury and Winchester. There are excellent grammar schools within the area which include Bishop Wordsworths for boys and South Wilts Grammar for girls, both in Salisbury.
