DECRIPTION: A rare chance to buy a detached derelict brick-built farm building which is located with circa 4 acres (to be verified) that may have potential to obtain planning for conversion into a holiday rental property or even a residential property that is situated in a secluded rural setting at the end of an old country lane.
The buildings are of brick and other construct, with some still visible and other parts covered by brambles etc.
The property has lovely views and apparently did at one time have a water bore hole.
There is a footpath that goes close by one of the buildings exterior walls.
LOCATION: Situated at the end of an old rural country lane, which we understand is called Glaziers Forge Lane Dallington next to Glaziers Forge Farm, Dallington TN21 9JJ in the field to its right and accessible also by a right of way.
This location is as rural and far away from busy main roads as is reasonably possible probably for this part of East Sussex. Although there are a few neighbours located at various stages along this unmade country road, they are very few in number and normally a good distance from one another.
Dallington village is a healthy walk away from these farm buildings, or if preferred, approximately a 3 mile drive, where the village has a local primary School, a popular Pub called the Swan Inn and even a local post office and shop.
Three Cups and Heathfield are also only a short drive away. The country town of Heathfield is able to offer excellent shopping and leisure facilities, with both a Waitrose and a Sainsbury’s supermarket amongst others. In addition to the Heathfield Leisure centre and its many artisan shops, more comprehensive shopping can be found at Tunbridge Wells.
For London commuters, the mainline train station of Stonegate and Etchingham are again within convenient driving distance.
Depending upon educational requirements, there are good local state schools at Heathfield and the nearby villages, as well as many reputable private teaching institutions, including Mayfield School for Girls, Battle Abbey just to name but a few.

Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on October 16, 2023
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area
