Dating back to the 19th Century with a later addition, this delightful cottage has painted brick and rendered elevations under a thatched roof with a wealth of period features. The warm and inviting accommodation incorporates a sitting room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms.
The superb triple aspect sitting room is full of natural light and set around a newly installed wood burner and a hand carved fireplace. The charming dining room has a window to the front and under-stairs cupboard and opens directly to the kitchen. The kitchen has a window overlooking the garden, and benefits from wall and floor units, worktops with tiled splashbacks, a one and a half bowl sink with drainer, four ring gas hob, integrated oven and washing machine as well as offering space for upright fridge/freezer and washing machine. The family bathroom has a window to the side, bath with shower over, sink and low level WC.
On the first floor, the main bedroom is a good size double, with a window to the side and front which offers fantastic views across the open countryside at the front of the home. Bedroom two has a window to the front and built-in cupboard creating an ideal guest bedroom.
The property is approached via a five-bar gate leading to the gravel driveway providing parking for several cars and access to the useful cart lodge, outbuilding and enclosed garden. The established garden is enclosed by a mix of fencing and hedging. The garden is mainly laid to lawn with well stocked flower beds, a Victorian plumb tree and shrub borders, as well as a paved terrace by a pond and an outbuilding/garden store.

Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on March 5, 2022
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on June 10, 2021 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
