Property description & features

"We moved to Kingswood because we fell in love with this unusual house and the area. It is situated on a quiet, friendly road next to the allotments; it is incredibly private, not overlooked and has far-reaching views of Kingswood and beyond. The house itself is a detached, character cottage with original features including beams and a sizeable fireplace. The cottage sits on a large plot of land, so has mature, wrap around gardens which really adds to the privacy. We have thoroughly adored our evenings in the garden and is has provided us a lovely entertaining space for friends and family. We have really enjoyed living in the house and loved cycling to get breakfast on the Bristol to Bath Cycle route in Warmley. While also being a stone's throw from the vibrant café's and delis of St. George and Hanham. It will be a really hard to move away from this house after living in it for two years and making it our home, but our circumstances have now changed and we have to move on to the next chapter of our lives".

A quaint and stylish cottage on a desirable road in BS15, offering luscious green gardens and a contemporary & vibrant interior to match. Built circa 1800s, the property is believed to be a former coach house on a farm, one of the longest standing homes in the area. Entrance is into generously sized hallway, with imposing wooden beams on display, a theme running throughout the home. A recently fitted bathroom suite is on the initial left, boasting decorative bright blue tiling and shower over bath. The living room is to the right, and is the focal point of the home. A striking brick fireplace elegantly dominates the room, tastefully contrasting with bold green décor and wooden flooring underfoot. Adjacent is the second reception, mirroring the living room in both character and style. The room is currently utilised as an office. A modern kitchen providing plenty of storage, and a conservatory used as a dining room completes the ground floor.

Progressing upstairs, two spacious double bedrooms are found. The first bedroom is the largest and has access to a W.C. The second bedroom is also generous in size, and houses the boiler and plenty of space for integrated storage. The plot itself is extremely generous, offering front and back gardens, plus a sizeable garage. Due to the homes unusual position on the road, the grounds are very private which is unique for the area. An abundance of green space is offered, as well as paved seating area which basks in sunlight throughout the day.

Bellevue Road is a premier road of Kingswood, offering several substantial semi-detached homes with large driveways, set back from the wide road. The area is hugely popular with families due to the versatile family homes and the space of the gardens which many properties offer. The nearby Courtney Primary School, Park Primary School, and several more have been rated a 'Good' rating from Ofsted contributing more to this area being such a sought-after family location. There are a number of high streets accessible from the area, including Lodge Causeway, Kingswood High Street, and Church Road. Like much of East Bristol, this area benefits from being accessible, not only for Bristol City Centre but also for access into Bath and for the M4 making it very popular with young professionals. This property is also within easy reach of the increasingly popular area of Hanham and all of the local amenities that it has to offer.
