Description

Rowan Cottage is a modern family home, located within the well served village of Corpusty conveniently located between Holt and Norwich.

The house was individually designed, with the use of traditional brick and flint detailing, creating a comfortable and welcoming home with well arranged accommodation. Upon entering Rowan Cottage, into the spacious reception hall, you get an immediate sense of the lengths the current owner has gone to in adding features such as bespoke shelving and panelling, alongside glass balustrades on the staircase to present a pleasing mix of period and contemporary that is continued throughout the house. The hall leads through to the spacious sitting room, with bifold doors to the garden, fireplace and bespoke panelling, and to the useful study with double aspect. Also off the hall is the fantastic kitchen/breakfast room, an open plan space with bespoke cabinetry and LED lighting, with breakfast bar dividing the practical area from the dining with bifold doors opening out to a really wonderful vine covered loggia, almost providing another room to the house, looking out to the garden. There is a functional utility, which conveniently links through to the double garage.

Upstairs the spacious feel continues. The principal bedroom has built in wardrobes and en suite shower room, whilst a further two en suite bedrooms that would be equally as suited to being the principal bedroom given their size. A fourth bedroom is currently utilised as a dressing room, and all bathrooms are finished to a high standard with quality tiling and fittings.

Outside
Rowan Cottage is set back from the road, allowing for plenty of parking in front of the house on a gravelled driveway and turning area adjoining the house and integral double garage.

The house enjoys a plot that provides gardens in front and behind the house, all of which have been cleverly landscaped to provide points of interest. The main garden is to the rear of the house, which the sitting room and loggia open onto. The expansive area was designed for ease of maintenance, with raised beds, framing areas of artificial grass, all bordered by beds of shrubs and mature trees that provide a great privacy. Linking the garden to the house is a paved and decked area, which with the loggia makes the perfect setting for outside dining and entertaining with a south to west aspect. Within the garden is a folly, providing a further comfortable area to enjoy. At the front of the house, which is adorned with established wisteria, is a further area of lawn, bordered by herbaceous beds.
