Overview. Guide Price £400,000-£415,000 This is a cottage that we are really excited about and provides plenty of charm and character for a buyer. From the entrance hall, the double doors into the sitting room and kitchen instantly provides that sense of character, the bay to the front perfectly complementing the fireplace surround. The decision to open the sitting room and kitchen into one provides additional light and you'll find plenty of storage, a butler sink, wood burner and appliances whilst the central table is the perfect spot to eat at. From the kitchen, the inner hallway gives access to the bathroom and also to the rear garden. On the first floor, the main bedroom is located to the front, whilst bedroom two is at the rear. Both bedrooms feature a fireplace and complement the wood finished floors, with recess storage space. The second floor provides the interesting part of the cottage, bedroom three has built in storage and a separate area which our clients cleverly use as an office space and also access to a shower room.

To the rear, there is a brick built storage facility by the back door and at the far end of the garden a timber shed. In between, a mature garden provides plenty of seating and lawn area flanked by shrubbery and enjoying a favoured westerly aspect. To the front there is off road parking for two cars and an EV connection is already in use.

The property tenure is freehold and the council tax band is C.

Location. One of things we love about this cottage is the location. Handcross is a beautiful village nestled just north of Haywards Heath and east of Horsham. Local facilities include a newsagents, butchers, hardware shop and Joco coffee house which is proving to be a big hit with the community. The Red Lion Pub is one of our favourite pubs in Mid-Sussex, great food and a good choice of beers! On your doorstep is Nymans Gardens National Trust – perfect for everyone and free for Handcross residents.

    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
