The popular village of Puddletown which lies approximately 5 miles north east of the County Town of Dorchester. The River Piddle runs through the village with water meadows to the north and woodland to the south. Moreton village (approximately 4 miles away) provides a local train station as well as Dorchester town with main line railway connection to London Waterloo and Bristol.
