Witherley is a village and civil parish in the Hinckley and Bosworth district of Leicestershire. The Warwickshire/Leicestershire border runs along the parish boundary, along the River Anker to the west and the A5 to the south, with Witherley village close by the town of Atherstone. It has St Peters church with its very tall steeple, a Primary School with secondary schooling in nearby Market Bosworth, Atherstone and Twycross. There is a family pub which has live music in the summer and the village green has pétanque and children’s play equipment and this is where the village hosts celebrations such as coronation/royal weddings etc, and weekly football. The village is also famous for it’s duck race on August bank holiday on the Anker river which runs past the church. The house has a decking area by the river too.

Local shopping facilities can be found at Atherstone approximately 2 miles away with more comprehensive shopping in Tamworth (8 miles) and Nuneaton (7 miles) including a mainline railway station at Atherstone with regular trains to London which takes about 1hr 15 minutes. Motorway access is quick and convenient with the A5 trunk road close by leading to Junction 10 of the M42 motorway and easy travelling to other major road links.
