A particularly rare opportunity. Situated on a generous plot in the village measuring just under quarter of an acre, this semi-detached residence is appointed classically throughout. Offering three good-sized bedrooms with storage, open-plan living/dining room, study/snug, kitchen, family bathroom, large front garden, especially large rear garden, driveway, and two garages.

To the front of the property is a neatly presented garden, with path to front door and side gate. The entrance hall leads to both the snug and living room, with stairs rising to first floor. The snug is a lovely room, and could alternatively serve as a study to work from home. The living room has a classic feel, with a wood burner and timber mantle, fitted bookshelf and archway to the dining room. The kitchen is well-appointed, with plenty of storage and a door to the patio and garden.

Upstairs, there are three good sized bedrooms, all of which are bright dual aspect spaces with fitted storage. The family bathroom has a white suite and is fitted with a shower over bath, toilet, handbasin, and heated towel rail.

Outside, the garden is a particular highlight. On a plot of nearly a quarter acre, there is more land than some of the local detached houses. Adjacent to the kitchen and to the side is a large patio, perfect for alfresco entertaining. There is a large lawn, with greenhouse and shed, and further lawn beyond this. Right of way over the yard to the rear affords access to the two garages and driveway, which has potential to be extended for further off-road parking.

The property is located in the heart of the historic village of Hursley, which benefits from a choice of two well regarded public houses, church, village hall, primary school, butchers, Post Office and cricket club. The cathedral city of Winchester (6 miles) offers a more comprehensive range of shopping, leisure and cultural amenities. There is a good range of both state and private educational facilities within easy reach, with the property falling within the catchment area for the well-regarded John Keble primary and Kings' secondary schools. The mainline railway station at Winchester offers direct rail access to London Waterloo (about one hour) and junction 11 of the M3 provides road access to London and the south coast. Bus routes link the village to both Romsey and Winchester.

All main services connected.

From Pearsons office on Southgate Street, head north on Southgate St/B3335 towards High St/B3040. Turn left onto High St/B3040. At the roundabout, continue straight onto Romsey Rd/B3040. At the traffic lights, turn right onto Hursley Park Road. Take the second right (opposite the entrance to John Keble CofE Primary School) and continue along the lane until you see a row of garages. The driveway is located to the left of the garages on the right hand side of the road. Please note, there is a speed bump on this road which is not easily spotted.

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
