Both Hackney Downs and Millfield park are within a walking distance of 5 minutes. A couple of minutes further and you will be at Hackney Marshes and the canals (which go all the way from Stratford to Tottenham).
Public transport starts right outside the house on the other side of the pond with buses going to Victoria, Oxford Street, Angel, Finsbury Park, Stoke Newington and Hackney Central (which is also walking distance). Otherwise, you have the option of a 5-minute walk to Clapton Station which will have you at Liverpool Street in approximately 20 minutes door to door.
